Ranch on Jesus
Ranch on Jesus Orphanage Ministries is located in Mutungo, Uganda and is Pearl Ministries’ primary partner ministry. Founded by national directors, Sarah and Theophilus Kamara, Ranch on Jesus is a recognized Ugandan NGO (non-governmental organization) dedicated to the spiritual, physical, emotional, and educational needs of Ugandan youths and their families. In a nation torn by war, disease, and poverty, Ranch on Jesus seeks to offer hope and healing through the light of the Gospel. The ministry desires to cultivate capable, responsible, God-fearing youth.
The Home
Ranch on Jesus maintains an Orphanage Home as a familial haven for the most desperate and vulnerable of children. The children who reside at the Orphanage Home enjoy a safe, supportive family which strives to meet their daily needs and train them up in God’s Word. The Orphanage Home compound contains boys and girls dormitories, a library, dining hall, kitchen and playground.
The School
Ranch on Jesus operates a primary school in the local community of Lwezza. The school offers full and partial scholarships to orphans and/or needy children within the area who would otherwise be unable to attend school.
In addition to aiding younger children’s primary education, Ranch on Jesus supports and education fund which supplies scholarships to qualifying youth who are pursuing secondary, vocational and university education.
Outreach
Ranch on Jesus also seeks to sponsor and assist children and struggling families within the surrounding Mutungo community. Staff members perform home studies and interviews to determine the best ways to aid households as they raise and provide for their youngest members.
